#11 Alabama Crimson Tide vs #15 LSU Tigers What to Watch:

When the No. 15 LSU Tigers (6-2, 3-1) play the No. 11 Alabama Crimson Tide (6-2, 3-2) at Tiger Stadium on Saturday night, all eyes will be on Death Valley. This game is probably going to be an elimination game for the College Football Playoffs because both teams have two defeats. Alabama is trying to build on a 34-0 victory over Missouri in its most recent game, while the Tigers are trying to recover from a 38-23 setback to Texas A&M. 56-27-5 is Alabama's all-time series lead. Cole Adams, a receiver, and safety Keon Sabb are out for Alabama. Eight players are listed as out by LSU, although defensive lineman Kimo Makane'ole, linebacker West Weeks, and receiver CJ Daniels are likely to play.

The Baton Rouge kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. According to the most recent Alabama vs. LSU odds, the Tide are favored by 2.5 points.

Under Brian Kelly, LSU is 13-0 at night and has won 15 straight games at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers had covered the spread in three straight games before losing to Texas A&M. With an average of 32.4 points and 448.0 total yards per game, LSU's offense is once again among the most effective in the SEC.

Veteran quarterback Garrett Nussmeier is leading the Tigers. The 6-foot-2 junior has been outstanding overall in his first complete season as the team's starter, despite struggling in the second half of LSU's defeat to Texas A&M.

He has 2,627 throwing yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine interceptions going into Saturday.

Alabama just finished what was likely their best game of the year. The Tide dominated Missouri in their most recent game, which took place in Tuscaloosa on October 26. They defeated the Tigers 34-0. In addition to rushing for 271 yards in the victory, Alabama was excellent on defense.

Jalen Milroe is a quarterback for the Tide who has the ability to influence the game. In its defeat to Texas A&M, LSU found it difficult to contain quarterback Marcel Reed, and Milroe is just as good at running as Reed. Milroe, who was formerly seen as a leading contender for the Heisman Trophy, comes into this game with 1,937 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions, as well as 380 rushing yards and 12  rushing touchdowns.
