Arkansas Razorbacks vs Auburn Tigers What to Watch:

In their SEC matchup on Saturday afternoon, the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-1) and Auburn Tigers (2-1) will both be hoping to open the conference season strongly. As it resumes its five-game homestand to start the season, Auburn defeated New Mexico 45-19 after losing 21-14 to California. After losing to then-No. 16 Oklahoma State in double overtime, Arkansas just defeated UAB 37-27. Including a 48-10 thumping at Arkansas last year, Auburn has won seven of the last eight games between these two teams.

On Saturday, kickoff is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. ET at Jordan-Hare Stadium's Pat Dye Field. According to the most recent Auburn vs. Arkansas odds, Auburn is favored by 2.5 points.

Given that it begins the season with a five-game homestand before traveling for three straight games, Auburn was handed one of the most intriguing schedules of any collegiate football club this season. After defeating New Mexico 45-19, the Tigers are preparing for the fourth game of their homestand. In the game, Hank Brown, a redshirt freshman quarterback, completed 17 of 25 throws for 235 yards and four touchdowns.

Jarquez Hunter, a senior running back, averaged 7.6 yards per carry while rushing 20 times for 152 yards and one touchdown. A key component of Auburn's offense, Hunter has amassed 273 running yards and two scores in three games.

Six of the Tigers' last eight games versus Arkansas have seen them cover the spread, and they have done so in eight of their previous twelve home games.

While Auburn cruised to a comfortable win over New Mexico last week, it struggled in its lone game with a power-conference opponent this season. The Tigers were 12-point home favorites against Cal two weeks ago, but they allowed 332 total yards while ending with less than 300 of their own. Arkansas lost to then-No. 16 Oklahoma State in overtime, but has won by double digits against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and UAB.

The Razorbacks were 10-point underdogs against the Cowboys, but they pushed the home team the whole game and led 21-7 at the half. Taylen Green, a junior quarterback for Arkansas, has rushed for 245 yards and four touchdowns and passed for 806 yards and three touchdowns. Since last season, the Razorbacks have covered the spread in five straight road games.
