Arkansas Razorbacks vs #24 Texas A&M Aggies What to Watch:
On Saturday afternoon, the final scheduled game of the Southwest Classic will pit the Arkansas Razorbacks (3-1) against the No. 24 Texas A&M Aggies (3-1). This week's game is the last scheduled neutral-site encounter between the Aggies and Razorbacks, who have met in Arlington in nine of the previous ten seasons. After losing to Notre Dame, then ranked seventh, in their first game, Texas A&M went on a three-game winning streak. Last week, Arkansas defeated Auburn on the road to record its second consecutive victory.
At&T Stadium, kickoff is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. According to the most recent Texas A&M vs. Arkansas odds, the Aggies are currently favored by 6 points after starting at -11.5.
Despite losing starting quarterback Conner Weigman due to a shoulder injury over the last two weeks, Texas A&M managed to defeat Bowling Green and Florida. Marcel Reed has stepped in excellently as a rookie quarterback, throwing for 422 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He rushes for 217 yards and scores another touchdown, adding a dual-threat ability.
Although Weigman is officially listed as questionable for Saturday, no official starter has been named by the coaching staff. Le'Veon Moss, a junior running back who has amassed 354 rushing yards and three touchdowns, leads the Aggies' potent rushing assault.
Texas A&M has won 11 of the previous 12 meetings between these two teams and is 9-1 in its last 10 games as a favorite.
Arkansas, which has covered the spread in three of its first four games, has been undervalued to start the season. Despite pushing the Cowboys to double OT as 10-point underdogs, the Razorbacks only suffered one straight loss, against Oklahoma State, then ranked No. 16. They defeated Auburn 24–14 on the road last week as 2.5-point underdogs, which was possibly their greatest performance of the season.
Junior quarterback Taylen Green threw for 151 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 80 yards on 18 carries. Senior running back Ja'Quinden Jackson rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Arkansas is 5-1 against the spread in its last five games as an underdog, and it has covered in four of the last six meetings between these teams. See which team to pick here.
