#19 Army Black Knights vs #6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish What to Watch:

Top-20 games are crucial because the College Football Playoff committee has just a few weeks left to decide who will make the field of 12. If any school hopes to contend for a national championship, Saturday's matchup between No. 6 Notre Dame and No. 19 Army is crucial. Army is a perfect 9-0 but hasn't faced a rated opponent, while Notre Dame is 9-1 on the season and has won eight straight games following a humiliating home loss to NIU.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, and the game will take place at Yankee Stadium in New York City. According to the most recent Notre Dame vs. Army odds, the Fighting Irish are 14 points ahead.

Since the unexplained defeat to the Huskies, the Fighting Irish have dominated, winning eight straight games with an average margin of 32.3 points. With style points, they have moved comfortably into the middle of the CFP title picture and are 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six games.

Riley Leonard has amassed 641 yards on the ground with 13 rushing touchdowns and 1,789 yards and 12 touchdowns while throwing with just four interceptions. With Jeremiyah Love, who has ran for 720 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, he makes a potent backfield tandem. In terms of scoring defense (11.4 points per game), Notre Dame is ranked third in the country.

Additionally, Jeff Monken's team has played outstanding defense, ranking second in the country in scoring defense (10.3 points per game) and giving up just 273.9 yards per game. The Black Knights haven't allowed more than 369 yards of total offense in a game this season and have held eight of their nine opponents to 14 points or less.

Army's option attack, led by quarterback Bryson Daily, averages 334.9 rushing yards per game. In addition to adding 644 yards and seven scores through the air with just one interception, Daily has run for 1,062 yards and 21 touchdowns. In his last six games, he has ran for two touchdowns and at least 100 yards.
