Ball State vs Buffalo What to Watch:

On Tuesday night, the Buffalo Bulls (5-4) will host the Ball State Cardinals (3-6) in a MACtion matchup. Last week, the Bulls ended their two-game losing streak by defeating Akron 41-30. The Cardinals, on the other hand, have dropped two of their last three games. Miami (OH) defeated Ball State 27–21 on November 5. This season, Buffalo has a 3-2 conference record. Ball State, meanwhile, is 2-3 in MAC games.

CBS Sports Network will kick off the game at 7 p.m. ET from UB Stadium in Buffalo, New York. The Bulls are 3.5-point favorites in the Ball State vs. Buffalo odds, despite Ball State's 11-2 series edge overall.

The goal of the run-first Buffalo squad is to exhaust the opposition. The Bulls have 15 total rushing touchdowns and 4 yards per carry, good for fifth place in the MAC in terms of running offense (153.4). As a ball carrier, junior running back Al-Jay Henderson possesses remarkable patience and vision. This season, he has amassed 562 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, and 5.6 yards per rush. In four consecutive games, the New Jersey native has ran for 80 yards or more.

He recorded one score and 107 rushing yards the previous week. Victor Snow, a sophomore wide receiver, can stretch the field and create plays downfield. He has a team-high 424 yards, three touchdowns, and 12.8 yards per reception on 33 receptions in 2024. This season, Snow has over 70 receiving yards in three games.

The Cardinals, who rank fourth in the MAC in passing offense (229.4), prefer to air the ball out going into this game. Kadin Semonza, a rookie quarterback, will take his shots downfield and plays fearlessly. He is third in the MAC in terms of passing yards per game (225.4) and second in terms of passing yards (2,029). In three of his games, the California native has accumulated more than 280 passing yards.

Last week, he went 23 of 36 for 280 yards versus Miami (OH). Tanner Koziol, a junior tight end, is a prime target because to his exceptional quickness and catch radius. In terms of receiving yards (629) and yards per game (69.9), Koziol is ranked fifth in the MAC. This season, he has at least nine catches and more than sixty-five receiving yards in five games. The Illinois native recorded nine grabs for 78 yards and two touchdowns against Northern Illinois on October 26.
