Baylor Bears vs Colorado Buffaloes What to Watch:

On Saturday night, the Colorado Buffaloes (2-1) will play the Baylor Bears (2-1) at home for the first time since the start of the season. Colorado lost 28-10 at Nebraska to start their two-game road trip, but they recovered to win 28-9 at Colorado State. Baylor is traveling for the second time this season after losing 23–12 at then-No. 11 Utah in its first away game. Since Baylor defeated them 31–25 on the road in the 2010 season, these teams have not faced one other.

At Boulder's Folsom Field, kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. According to the most recent Colorado vs. Baylor odds, the Buffaloes are a 1-point favorite.

Following a stellar performance against Colorado State, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders completed 36 of 49 throws for 310 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. This season, he has already passed for 999 yards and nine touchdowns, while two-way star Travis Hunter has 30 receptions, 342 yards, and five touchdowns. Last week also saw Colorado's rushing assault finally pick up steam, finishing with 109 yards and 5.7 yards per run.

Cam Rising of Utah completed 8 of 14 throws for 92 yards and two touchdowns before departing that game early due to an injury, making it difficult for Baylor to slow down the lone elite quarterback it has faced this season.

The Bears will not be able to reveal Colorado's greatest vulnerability because they have only recorded four sacks this season. They are also 2-6 in their last eight games overall and have dropped five in a row on the road.

After losing to Utah, Baylor recovered well, defeating Air Force 31-3 as a 17-point favorite. When Dequan Finn was injured, Sawyer Robertson took over as the starting quarterback. He completed 18 of 24 passes for 248 yards and a rushing score. Head coach Dave Aranda has listed both quarterbacks as alternatives on the depth chart for this game.

The Bears have given up the fewest passing yards per game (75.7) in the nation since Aranda took over the defensive play calling duties this season. Although Colorado made an effort to address its offensive line problems throughout the summer, the team has already given up seven sacks in three games. Baylor has covered the spread in four of its last five games, while the Buffaloes have won two of their last nine games since the previous season.
