Bowling Green Falcons vs Central Michigan Chippewas What to Watch:

The Bowling Green Falcons (4-4) and Central Michigan Chippewas (3-5) square off on Tuesday night to begin midweek MACtion play. The Falcons have won two straight games and have been playing well lately. Bowling Green defeated Toledo 41-26 on October 26. They defeated a MAC opponent for the second time in a row. The Chippewas, who have lost three straight games, are in a different situation. Miami (OH) defeated Central Michigan 46-7 last week. Both teams have recently had trouble beating the spread; Bowling Green is just 1-3-1 ATS in its previous five games, and CMU has only covered once since the start of the season on August 29.

At 7:30 p.m. ET, kickoff will take place from Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. According to the most recent Bowling Green vs. Central Michigan odds, the Falcons are currently 13.5-point favorites after beginning at -10.5.

Terion Stewart, a junior running back, is a potent weapon in the backfield. Because of his quickness and second-level acceleration, Stewart can outpace any touch. The Tennessee native has five touchdowns and 557 yards on 106 carries. Five games this season have seen him top 60 rushing yards. The defense of Central Michigan allows 4.8 yards per carry.

The Falcons have been able to exert pressure on defense. This season, they have recorded 20 team sacks. As a team, Central Michigan has surrendered 16 sacks in 2024.

Joseph Sipp Jr., a junior linebacker, is constantly on the ball. He has recorded four sacks and a team-high 53 total tackles. Sipp Jr. recorded a season-high 11 tackles in his most recent game.

When it comes to remaining inside a two-score margin at home, Central Michigan's ability to establish the run game this season may be crucial. With 5.1 yards per carry, the Chippewas are fourth in the conference in terms of rushing offense (184.4). Because of his quickness and contact balance, senior running back Marion Lukes is the backfield workhorse. He has four running touchdowns and 465 rushing yards. In four of the previous five games, Lukes has ran for at least 75 yards.

The Chippewas may launch this offensive since the Falcons are ranked eighth in the MAC in terms of run defense (169.1). Dakota Cochran, the junior linebacker, gives this group a downhill, athletic thumper. He has 3.5 sacks and 37 total tackles. In three of the previous five games, Cochran has been able to finish with a sack.
