California Golden Bears vs #24 UNLV Rebels What to Watch:

The California Golden Bears (6-6) and the No. 24 UNLV Rebels (10-3) will square off on Wednesday in the Gronk-hosted 2024 LA Bowl. The Golden Bears finished the regular season with two straight losses. They were defeated 38–6 by No. 11 SMU on Nov. 30. In the meanwhile, Boise State defeated UNLV 21-7 in the Mountain West Championship Game, ending the Rebels' four-game winning streak. Fernando Mendoza, the quarterback for Cal, is on the transfer site. Del Alexander will serve as UNLV's interim head coach following Barry Odom's appointment to the Purdue position.

At 9 p.m. ET, kickoff will take place from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. In the most recent California vs. UNLV odds, the Rebels are suddenly a 3.5-point advantage after starting as small underdogs.

Jaivian Thomas, a sophomore running back, is a quick and elusive ball carrier in the backfield. Thomas has amassed 6.6 yards per carry, seven running touchdowns, and 598 rushing yards this season. Five of his last six games have seen him score a touchdown. He has also gained more than fifty yards in six games this season.

Jack Endries, a sophomore tight end, with 49 receptions for 562 yards, 11.5 yards per reception, and two touchdowns in the passing game.

Five of the previous eight games have seen the California native record at least 50 receiving yards. Endries had four grabs for fifty yards against Syracuse on November 16.

Under center, senior quarterback Hajj-Malik Williams is a potent weapon. The Georgia native has gained 1,845 throwing yards and 17 passing touchdowns while completing 62% of his passes. He has also added nine more touchdowns and 824 rushing yards.

The Rebels have a dependable pass-catcher in senior receiver Ricky White III, an NFL possibility. In terms of receptions (79), receiving yards (1,041), and receiving touchdowns (11) White III has set team records. In five games this 2024 season, the Georgia native has also surpassed 100 receiving yards. White III caught seven passes for 128 yards and a touchdown against Hawaii on November 9.
