Cincinnati Bearcats vs Colorado Buffaloes What to Watch:

The Colorado Buffaloes (5-2, 3-1) and head coach Deion Sanders will face the Cincinnati Bearcats (5-2, 3-1) on Saturday night at Folsom Field, where bowl eligibility will be at stake. In their second season under Coach Prime, the Buffs are 2-1 against the spread at home. In its most recent game, CU defeated Arizona 34–7 behind the play of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. After defeating Arizona State 24–14, the Bearcats are on a two-game winning streak. This season, Cincinnati's road record is 2-0-1 against the spread.

At 10:15 p.m. ET, kickoff will take place in Boulder, Colorado. According to the most recent Colorado vs. Cincinnati odds, the Buffs are 6.5-point favorites.

The Bearcats boast one of the Big 12's top pass rushes. This season, Cincinnati has racked up 17 sacks overall, led by defensive end Eric Phillips (4.0) and linebacker Jared Bartlett (4.5). This season, Colorado's offensive line has gotten better, but the Bearcats might have a clear edge at the line of scrimmage.

Brendan Sorsby, the quarterback, has performed admirably in his debut season with the team. In addition to rushing for 96 yards and six touchdowns, the sophomore transfer from Indiana has passed for 1,928 yards, 13 touchdowns, and four interceptions. In terms of quarterback rating, Sorsby is ranked second in the Big 12 (152.1), only surpassed by Shedeur Sanders (161.6).

For the first time since the Covid-shortened 2020 season, the Buffs have an opportunity to secure bowl eligibility. In 2016, Colorado made it to the bowl game for the final full season. Additionally, a victory would guarantee that Coach Prime's squad will surpass its preseason win total of 5.5 games.

One of the top wide receiver groups in college football is Colorado's. With 51 catches for 604 yards and six touchdowns, Travis Hunter is in first place. With 34 catches for 445 yards and seven touchdowns, FAU transfer Lajohntay Wester is right behind Hunter and has been excellent lately. Jimmy Horn Jr. (28-356-1) and Will Sheppard (26-384-3) complete the group.
