Iowa Hawkeyes vs #19 Missouri Tigers What to Watch:
In Monday's 2024 Music City Bowl, the Iowa Hawkeyes will play the Missouri Tigers, who are ranked 19th. Missouri is participating in its fifth straight bowl game, while Iowa has advanced to a bowl game for the 12th consecutive season. The Hawkeyes (8-4) are 0-1 against rated opponents this season and tied for fifth place in the Big Ten with Illinois (6-3). The Tigers (9-3) are 8-0 against opponents who are not rated and tied for fourth place in the SEC at 5-3. Due to the NFL Draft and transfer portal, both teams will be missing a number of players, including Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III (Draft) and starting offensive tackle Armand Membou (Draft), Iowa quarterback Cade McNamara (Portal) and starting running back Kaleb Johnson (Draft).

The Tigers' attack is led by senior quarterback Brady Cook, a dual-threat playmaker. On September 21, Noel ran 24 times for 199 yards (8.3 average) in a 30-27 victory over Vanderbilt in double overtime. Carroll ran 15 times for 91 yards (6.1 average) and three touchdowns in a 45-3 victory over Massachusetts.
The Hawkeyes will use junior quarterback Brendan Sullivan in McNamara's absence. He is currently in his first season as a Northwestern transfer. He completed 24 of 35 passes for 344 yards and two touchdowns, two interceptions, and a rating of 158.6 in his little amount of activity.
He has a rating of 140.0 after completing 158 of 230 passes (68.7%) for 1,647 yards and 12 touchdowns in three collegiate seasons, along with seven interceptions. On November 2, he ran nine times for 58 yards and a touchdown and completed seven of ten throws for 93 yards and one touchdown in a 42-10 victory over Wisconsin.
Kamari Moulton, a freshman, will spearhead Iowa's ground attack now that Johnson is gone. Moulton has rushed 70 times this season, gaining 377 yards (5.4 average) and two touchdowns, including a long 68-yard run. On Nov. 23, he rushed 12 times for 114 yards (9.5 average) and one touchdown in a 29–13 victory over Maryland. In the victory, he gained 74 yards on nine carries win over Wisconsin BAdgers.
