#13 Kansas State Wildcats vs BYU Cougars What to Watch:

The No. 6 BYU Cougars (9-0) will visit the Kansas Jayhawks (3-6) on Saturday night, putting their undefeated record on the line. Last week, BYU defeated UCF then narrowly defeated Utah on a two-game road trip. After defeating then-No. 17 Iowa State 45-36, Kansas is looking to pull off a second consecutive upset. When these teams faced one other last season, the Jayhawks won 38-27 as 9-point home favorites.

LaVell Edwards Stadium will kick off on Saturday at 10:15 p.m. ET. According to the most recent BYU vs. Kansas odds, BYU is favored by 2.5 points.

Last week, BYU looked like it could fall out of the top 10, but it came back to defeat Utah 22–21. With three seconds left, Jake Retzlaff, the quarterback, made the game-winning field goal to cap off a scoring drive. For the second time under head coach Kalani Sitake and the sixth time in school history, the Cougars are now 9-0.

After cornerback Jakob Robinson recorded his third of the season against Utah, their outstanding defense is tied for second place nationally with 16 interceptions. LJ Martin, a sophomore running back, has 425 rushing yards and five touchdowns, while Retzlaff has 2,089 passing yards and 17 touchdowns.

The Jayhawks have only covered the spread three times in their last nine games, compared to nine of the Cougars' last eleven games.

In order to build some late-season momentum and maintain its prospects of making the bowl, Kansas has won two of its previous three games. The Jayhawks easily covered the spread as 10-point favorites in their 29-27 loss at then-No. 16 Kansas State after thrashing Houston 42-14 last month. Last week, as 2.5-point underdogs, they managed to pull off an upset victory over then-No. 17 Iowa State, winning 45-36.

Against the Cyclones, junior quarterback Jalon Daniels, who spent a large portion of the previous season as a Heisman Trophy candidate, recorded 295 passing yards and two touchdowns. Devin Neal, a senior running back, averaged 5.8 yards per attempt and finished with 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. In its last 15 games as a favorite, BYU has covered five times, indicating that it has struggled.
