Kentucky Wildcats vs #6 Ole Miss Rebels What to Watch:

Conference action will begin on Saturday afternoon when the Kentucky Wildcats (2-2) visit the No. 6 Ole Miss Rebels (4-0). In each of its four decisive victories, including last week's 52–13 victory over Georgia Southern, Ole Miss has scored at least 40 points. Kentucky pushed then-No. 1 Georgia two weeks ago and ended its two-game losing streak with a 41-6 victory over Ohio. The last time these teams faced each other, in 2022, the Rebels prevailed 22-19.

Oxford's Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field will kick off at 12:00 ET. According to the most recent Ole Miss vs. Kentucky odds, the Rebels are 15.5-point favorites.

Since last season, Ole Miss has won four in a row by a margin of at least 34 points and covered the spread five times in a row. Jaxson Dart, the quarterback, is tied for fourth place in passing touchdowns (12) and leads all FBS players with 388.5 passing yards per game. In terms of overall yards per game (670.8), passing yards per game (422.8), and points per game (55.0), the Rebels are the nation's top team.

After failing to score a touchdown in their first two SEC games, Kentucky just lacks the offensive firepower to compete with Ole Miss.

They are now just 1-7 in their last eight conference games, and they are winless against Ole Miss in three attempts under head coach Mark Stoops. The Rebels have not had an opportunity to showcase their offense against an SEC opponent, so they will be motivated to make a statement on Saturday.

It is difficult to evaluate how good Ole Miss is, as the Rebels have not faced an opponent of note up to this point. Meanwhile, Kentucky has already proven that it can push one of the best teams in college football, leading for the majority of its 13-12 loss to then-No. 1 Georgia two weeks ago. The Wildcats bounced back from that loss with a 41-6 win over Ohio, as quarterback Brock Vandagriff completed 17 of 24 passes for 237 yards.

After that defeat, the Wildcats defeated Ohio 41-6, with quarterback Brock Vandagriff completing 17 of 24 passes for 237 yards.

The Wildcats amassed 488 total yards, including seven receptions for 145 yards from wide receiver Dane Key. During Mark Stoops' career at Kentucky, these teams have faced one another three times, with Ole Miss winning each time by a total of seven points. In addition to covering in five of their past six games overall, the Wildcats have covered the spread in seven of their previous ten road games.
