#10 Michigan Wolverines vs Washington Huskies What to Watch:

In a rematch of the national championship game from the previous season, which Michigan won 34–13, the 10th-ranked Michigan Wolverines (4–1) take on the Washington Huskies (3-2) in primetime on Saturday. Following Washington's offseason jump, they are playing as Big Ten members this time. Although Michigan still has tight end Colston Loveland, who had three catches for 64 yards in the championship game, the majority of the players and both head coaches from that game have moved on.

Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET. According to the most recent Washington vs. Michigan odds, the Huskies are 1.5 points ahead, and the over/under is 40.5.

Even though Michigan's victories haven't always been spectacular, the Wolverines have managed to stay in the running for the playoffs for five weeks under new head coach Sherrone Moore. Two weeks after Texas traveled to Ann Arbor and dominated a Week 2 showdown on route to a 31-12 victory, the Wolverines recovered to defeat USC 27-24 in their next big matchup, even though they started that game as a 4-point underdog.

Perhaps the Wolverines' biggest surprise has been running back Kalel Mullings. Donovan Edwards, who was supposed to lead this offense, has been replaced as the lead back by Mullings, a converted linebacker. Mullings has six touchdowns this season and is averaging 7.0 yards per rush as opposed to Edwards' 4.9.

With head coach Jedd Fisch joining from Arizona after Kalen DeBoer left for Alabama after the team's run to the championship game the previous year, Washington is entering a new era. In Week 4, the Huskies covered as 11.5-point favorites after defeating Northwestern 24-5 to get off to a quick start in Big Ten play. But on Friday night, in the first of many cross-country journeys in their new conference, they lost 21-18 to Rutgers.

But when Washington hosts its first Big Ten powerhouse, Husky Stadium ought to be ablaze. Michigan's physicality on both sides of the ball might cause problems, but Washington's passing attack—led by quarterback Will Rogers—is considerably superior, allowing them a route to victory and cover.
