The New Mexico State Aggies (1-4) will take on the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (2-3) on Wednesday night to begin Week 7 of the collegiate football season. In July 2023, both clubs formally became members of Conference USA. This will be the second time these universities have played each other. New Mexico State defeated the Gamecocks 20–17 last year.
