Tuesday night's MACtion features a matchup between the Miami (OH) RedHawks (6-4) and the Northern Illinois Huskies (6-4). Both of these teams are on winning streaks going into this clash. Akron lost to Northern Illinois 29–16 last week. For their part, the RedHawks have won five in a row. They defeated Kent State 34-7 on November 13. Miami is fighting for a berth in the conference championship game and is tied for first place in the MAC standings at 5-1.
