Rice Owls vs Memphis Tigers What to Watch:
In a crucial American Athletic Conference game on Friday night, the Memphis Tigers will try to get back into the winning streak against the Rice Owls. Last Saturday's 44-36 loss to UTSA ended Memphis' four-game winning streak and put an end to the Tigers' hopes of qualifying for the College Football Playoffs. The last time out, Rice defeated Navy 24–10. This season, the Owls (3-6, 2-3 AAC), who are tied for eighth place in the league, have a 0–4 road record. In 2024, the Tigers (7-2, 3-2 AAC), currently ranked fourth in the league and a remote favorite to win the AAC, have a 5-0 home record. Rice is 4-4-1 ATS this season, while Memphis is 5-5 against the spread.
Memphis' Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium will kick off at 9 p.m. ET. The Tigers are currently 7-point favorites in the most recent Rice vs. Memphis odds after opening at -10.5.
