#15 Texas A&M Aggies vs Auburn Tigers What to Watch:

On Saturday night, the No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies will play the Auburn Tigers in an SEC matchup. Texas A&M is 8-2 overall and 2-1 away from home, while Auburn is 4-6 overall and 3-4 at home. The Aggies, who won 27-10 at home last season, have won three of their last four meetings. Texas A&M is 3-7 against the line in the 2024 college football season, while Auburn is 5-5 against the spread (ATS).

Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama's Pat Dye Field will host the game at 7:30 p.m. ET. According to the most recent Auburn vs. Texas A&M odds, the Aggies are favored by 2.5 points.

In its most recent game, Auburn handily defeated Louisiana-Monroe 48–14 on Saturday, demonstrating that it simply could not be stopped. In addition to his career-high five touchdowns and 286 yards, Payton Thorne's passing total was higher than his four prior games combined. Three of those touchdown grabs were from receiver Cam Coleman, who both surpassed triple digits in the air with 100 yards and KeAndre Lambert-Smith with 104 yards.

Auburn is 19th in the nation for scoring defense, so even with the explosive explosion, they still focus on the defensive end of the ball. In addition to shutting down the ground game entirely in those games, the Tigers have held each of their previous four opponents to 21 points or less.

The Aggies more than doubled the NM State Aggies in total yards (565 to 214) as they easily defeated New Mexico State 38-3 on Saturday. Marcel Reed, the quarterback, had a great game. He punched in a touchdown on the ground and threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns. With 10 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and two sacks, Texas A&M's defense was as strong as the score suggested.

After starting the season with a 0–5 ATS record, A&M has stabilized in terms of spread success. Since then, it has covered in four of its last five games, all of which have been against SEC teams. The Tigers have a perfect 2-4 straight-up record in their all-time home games against A&M, although Auburn is only 2-4 ATS in conference games this season. Multiple spread trends favor Texas A&M, especially when you consider that Auburn is only 2-7 ATS after a victory after its last nine victories.
