Tulane Green Wave vs #24 Army Black Knights What to Watch:

On Friday night, the No. 24 Army Black Knights (10-1) will host the 2024 AAC Championship Game in its inaugural league season against the Tulane Green Wave (9-3). After defeating UTSA 29–24 last week to end the regular season, Army finished 8–0 in league play. Two weeks ago, the Black Knights lost to Notre Dame in Yankee Stadium, their only defeat of the season. Tulane's eight-game winning streak ended last week when they lost to Memphis, eliminating them from the College Football Playoffs.

At 8 p.m. ET, the game will kick off from Blaik Field at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York. According to the most recent Army vs. Tulane odds, Tulane is a 4.5-point favorite.

Army defeated every unranked team it faced this season, with the one defeat occurring two weeks earlier against Notre Dame, who was ranked sixth at the time. In their debut season as an AAC member, the Black Knights were undefeated against conference opponents, with seven of those victories coming by double digits. Last week, they defeated UTSA 29–24 to finish their conference schedule. QB Bryson Daily tied the AAC record for single-season touchdowns (24).

He demonstrated Army's seldom passing attack in addition to its yearly elite rushing attack by throwing for a season-high 190 passing yards. Daily set an Army record with nine consecutive 100-yard outings when he ran for 147 yards against UTSA. In their five home victories this season, the Black Knights have outscored their opponents 188-62.

Prior to its defeat at Memphis last week, Tulane still had a chance to qualify for the College Football Playoffs. Before falling to the Tigers, the Green Wave won eight straight games, scoring at least 34 points in seven of those victories. In that run, they scored more over 40 points five times, including a 71–20 victory at UAB.

Army did not play any of the top three teams in the AAC, but the Green Wave have the best schedule in the league. Army's defense has given up almost six yards per play in its last four games, while Tulane's offense is among the top 20 in terms of yards per play. The Black Knights are 1-4 against the spread in their previous five games, while the Green Wave have covered the spread in five consecutive road games.
