UCLA Bruins vs #16 LSU Tigers What to Watch:

On Saturday afternoon, the No. 16 LSU Tigers (2-1) will face the UCLA Bruins (1-1) in an attempt to win three straight games. After losing to then-No. 23 USC in the first game of the season, LSU bounced back with victories over South Carolina and Nicholls State. UCLA is attempting to recover from last week's 42–13 home loss against Indiana. In 2021, UCLA won 38-27 to start a home-and-home series, which is now in its second game.

Tiger Stadium will host kickoff on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. According to the most recent LSU vs. UCLA odds, LSU is favored by 22.5 points, and the over/under is 56 points.

After losing to USC in the first game of the season, LSU has bounced back well, winning 44-21 against Nicholls State two weeks ago. Last week, the Tigers erased a 17-0 deficit at South Carolina with a 36-33 victory. Garrett Nussmeier, a junior quarterback, amassed 302 yards and six touchdowns against Nicholls before completing 24 of 40 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns.

In the thrilling victory over the Gamecocks, rookie running back Caden Durham made an immediate impression with 11 touches for 98 yards and two scores. UCLA has lost both of its first games, losing to Indiana as a 4-point underdog after failing to cover as a 13.5-point favorite against Hawaii.

UCLA has only covered the spread twice in its last eight games, while LSU is on an 11-game winning streak at home.

Indiana spoiled UCLA's Big Ten debut last week, but the Bruins will be fired up to defeat a top-ranked team this week. After completing 67.1% of his passes with 11 touchdowns the previous season, senior quarterback Ethan Garbers has passed for 409 yards and one score in his first two games this season. UCLA now has a dual-threat weapon thanks to Garbers' 68-yard gallop.

Since the first game, this line has soared a full touchdown, but LSU has failed to cover the spread in any of its first three games. The Tigers are 3-9 against the spread in their last 12 games in Week 4, and they have lost five straight September games. Recently, bettors have been successful in fading LSU, and this week, they are laying a ton of money.
