Washington Huskies vs #1 Oregon Ducks What to Watch:
Two weeks ago, the No. 1 Oregon Ducks defeated Wisconsin to secure their place in the Big Ten Championship Game. This Saturday, they will try to finish off a flawless regular season by defeating the Washington Huskies in a rivalry. The rivalry between Oregon and Washington began in 1900, and Washington has won the previous three meetings when both teams were in the Pac-12, giving them a 63-48-5 lead in the series overall. The Big Ten's dynamic has undoubtedly changed, though, as Washington is 6-5 overall and 4-4 in the league, while Oregon is 11-0 on the season and 8-0 in the Big Ten.
The Ducks, who haven't lost since defeating the Huskies in November 2022, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. According to the most recent Oregon vs. Washington odds, Oregon is ahead by 18 points.
Two weeks ago, Oregon secured another victory to maintain its undefeated season. Wisconsin was eluded 16–13. Although the Ducks' 16-point performance was their lowest-scoring game of the season, it ultimately made no difference.
Wisconsin quarterback Braedyn Locke was stifled by the Oregon defense throughout the game, giving up just 96 yards on 28 pass attempts. On a night when quarterback Dillon Gabriel wasn't playing, Jordan James ran for 121 yards and a touchdown to help the team win.
The Oklahoma transfer has scored 28 touchdowns this season and leads the Big Ten in passing yards (3,066).
When Washington played away from home on November 9th, they lost, but when the Huskies played at home on November 16th, the home crowd provided them all the motivation they needed. They defeated UCLA 31-19 in order to qualify for the bowl. Washington's ability to complete drives was a major factor in the victory; in all four of its trips to the red zone, it scored a touchdown.
Jonah Coleman broke the 1,000-yard mark for the season with a rush of 95 yards and two touchdowns in the win. He will be heavily relied upon against an Oregon defense that is seventh in Division I in terms of points allowed per game (15.7), and he has generated at least 100 scrimmage yards in three of his last four outings.
