Wyoming Cowboys vs Colorado State Rams What to Watch:

With the Colorado State Rams (6-3, 4-0) hosting the Wyoming Cowboys (2-7, 2-3) in the fight for the Bronze Boot on Friday at Canvas Stadium, the 2024 Border War is on tap this week. The Rams, who just defeated Nevada 38–21, have won four in a row. In their most recent game on November 2, the Cowboys defeated New Mexico 49-45, ending a three-game losing run. In the all-time series, Colorado State is ahead 58-51-5. In 2024, CSU is 6-3 against the spread and the Cowboys are 4-5.

CBS Sports Network will go up in Fort Collins at 8 p.m. ET. According to the most recent Wyoming vs. Colorado State odds, the Rams are favored by 9.5 points.

Two FBS teams are unbeaten against the spread in conference play, including the Rams. CSU has covered in six straight games overall and is 4-0 ATS and straight up versus Mountain West opponents. A trip to the Mountain West Championship Game is still very much in the Rams' sights, so they have a lot more to gain from this game.

The development of CSU's potent rushing assault has been a major factor in the team's recent winning run. The Rams have ran for 188.3 yards per game during the run, led by Avery Morrow and Justin Marshall.

Marshall has 477 yards and three touchdowns going into Friday, while Morrow has 788 yards and eight.

In the first season of the post-Craig Bohl era, Wyoming has regressed. With the exception of the Covid-shortened 2020 season, the Cowboys had advanced to a bowl game in each of the previous three seasons under Bohl, and six of the previous seven. Luckily for Wyoming, this is the kind of rivalry where you can usually disregard the record of each team before the game.

The Cowboys just defeated New Mexico 49-45, their greatest offensive showing of the season.

Recently, the squad has also done well against the spread, covering in four of their previous five games and three in a row. With victories in seven of the last eight encounters, Wyoming has dominated this series in recent years. The Rams became somewhat more one-dimensional last month when CSU lost top receiver Tory Horton (knee) for the season.
