#17 Boise State Broncos vs Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors What to Watch:

The No. 17 Boise State Broncos (4-1, 1-0) will travel to play the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (2-3, 0-1) in a late-night Mountain West game, with Heisman Trophy contender Ashton Jeanty expected to be the star. After rushing for 1,031 yards and 16 touchdowns in the Broncos' first five games, Jeanty has risen to the top of the Heisman Trophy chances. Boise State just defeated Utah State 62-30, their third consecutive victory. Hawaii, which has dropped three of its last four games, is trying to recover from its Mountain West opening against San Diego State, which it lost 27–24. The game will air on CBS Sports Network across the country.

In Honolulu, kickoff is set for 11 p.m. ET. According to the most recent Hawaii vs. Boise State odds, the Broncos are ahead by 20.5 points.

The Broncos have set themselves up for a successful run at securing a spot in the College Football Playoffs' Group of 5. Boise State lost 37-34 on a last-second field goal after pushing No. 3 Oregon to the limit in early September. With an average of just under 55 points per game, the Broncos have won their last four games handily.

Jeanty's performance for Boise State has been exceptional. The Jacksonville, Florida, junior is now the frontrunner to win the Heisman Trophy in 2024. Jeanty has racked up 95 carries for 1,031 yards and 16 touchdowns in five games.

After losing to San Diego State 27–24 in Week 6, Hawaii will try to bounce back in Saturday's game. Unfortunately, the loss extends the Rainbow Warriors' dismal run of five straight losses in their meetings with the Aztecs. Despite a strong performance by quarterback Brayden Schager, who threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns, Hawaii lost.

This season, the Warriors have a 2-1 home record against the spread. Although Hawaii has a history of being a highly effective offensive football team, this season the team's defense has been particularly strong. In 2024, the Warriors lead the Mountain West in both total yards allowed (309.4) and points allowed (19.0) per game.
