The Miami (OH) RedHawks will play the Kent State Golden Flashes on Wednesday night in MACtion in an attempt to go closer to playing in the MAC Championship Game. Kent State lost 41-0 to Ohio last Wednesday, while Miami is fresh off a 27-21 victory over Ball State on November 5. On an 18-game losing streak, the Golden Flashes (0-9, 0-5 MAC) are seeking their first victory since defeating Central Connecticut 38-10 the previous season. After winning four straight, the RedHawks (5-4, 4-1 MAC) are searching for their first MAC championship since 2019.
At Oxford, Ohio's Fred C. Yager Stadium, kickoff is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET. Miami has won four of the last five encounters, including a 23-3 victory last year, and has a 52-18 lead in the series overall. According to the most recent Kent State vs. Miami odds, the RedHawks are 30.5-point favorites.

Despite the team's difficulties, Chrishon McCray, a sophomore wide receiver, is enjoying a strong season. With 34 receptions for 594 yards (17.5 average) and seven touchdowns, he leads the Golden Flashes. On October 12, he recorded eight receptions for 213 yards (26.6 average) and three touchdowns in a 37-35 loss against Ball State.
