#4 Alabama Crimson Tide vs Wisconsin Badgers What to Watch:

The Big Ten and SEC's most storied programs will square off in the Week 3 college football schedule when the Wisconsin Badgers (2-0) meet the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday. The most recent of the Badgers' two consecutive hard-fought victories came in Week 2 against FCS rival South Dakota. Running back Chez Mellusi scored two touchdowns to help the Badgers win 27–13. With a cumulative score of 105-16 in their first two games of the season, Alabama has been in control. The Tide defeated South Florida 42-16 in their most recent victory.

These programs last faced off in a neutral site game in Dallas in 2015, which Alabama won 35–17.

Kickoff is set for 12:00 ET at Madison's Camp Randall Stadium. The Tide are now favored by 16.5 points after starting at -7.5.

Although it's never easy to replace a great, Kalen DeBoer, the team's first-year head coach, has responded well to Nick Saban's departure. In their first two games of the season, the Tide have dominated, defeating South Florida 42-16 and Western Kentucky 63-0. Alabama has a 53-game winning record versus unranked opponents and an indisputable talent edge.

With players who appear to be future NFL Draft selections, the Tide offense is explosive. Jalen Milroe has become one of college football's best dual-threat quarterbacks and a strong candidate for the Heisman Trophy. Ryan Williams, a true freshman, has lived up to his reputation as one of the top 10 overall players in the 2024 recruiting class and a five-star recruit. Williams has six receptions for 207 yards and three touchdowns in two games.

In college football, the Badgers have one of the best home-field advantages. Wisconsin will host a non-conference club in the top five at Camp Randall Stadium for just the third game since 1936.

Wisconsin is also one of just two Big Ten Conference teams to defeat a top-10 SEC team in a regular-season matchup.

The Badgers can control the time and drag out this game thanks to their rushing offense. With 35 carries for 134 yards and three touchdowns going into the week, senior running back Chez Mellusi is leading the way for Wisconsin. He just finished last week's game against South Dakota with two touchdowns.
