#16 LSU Tigers vs South Carolina Gamecocks What to Watch:

On Saturday in Columbia, South Carolina, the 16th-ranked LSU Tigers take on the South Carolina Gamecocks in SEC play. It will be LSU's first league game. After defeating Nicholls 44-21 last Saturday, the Tigers (1-1) are aiming for their third straight 10-win season. Since finishing 11-2 in 2013, the Gamecocks (2-0), who finished 5-7 the previous season, have not won more than ten games in a season.

At 12:00 ET, Williams-Brice Stadium will kick off. South Carolina averages 270 yards per game, while LSU averages 399.5.

Aaron Anderson, a sophomore wide receiver at LSU, is establishing himself this season. He just defeated Nicholls 44-21 on Saturday with five catches and 63 yards.

Anderson had five receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown, including a long of 41 yards, in the team's 27–20 loss over Southern Cal in the first game. Anderson has caught 22 passes for 186 yards (8.5 average) and one touchdown during his career.

Sai'vion Jones, a senior defensive end, has led the team with two sacks for eight yards and has been a beast on defense. Both of them participated in the first game versus USC. He has had seven tackles in two games, four of which were solo, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup. He has 65 tackles, 24 of which have been solo, nine sacks, two forced fumbles, and four pass breakups in his four seasons with the Tigers.

Mazeo Bennett Jr., a wide receiver, has had a strong start to his college career. The freshman caught two catches for 18 yards in the team's first victory over Old Dominion, 23-19. He then went on to grab three catches for 63 yards and a touchdown in a 31-6 victory over Kentucky. With 16.2 receiving yards per reception, he is ranked 19th in the SEC.

The defense of the Gamecocks has been excellent. Together, their two edge rushers have recorded six sacks for 45 yards. Dylan Stewart, a rookie, has two forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks for 26 yards. Kyle Kennard, a senior, has two forced fumbles and 3.5 sacks for 19 yards. South Carolina has six forced fumbles and 10 sacks in two games.
